As we return from the holiday break, our sights quickly set on ProMat 2009, which takes place in Chicago, IL next week.  ProMat is North America’s premier material handling and logistics event, and because it occurs every other year, it brings out most of the material handling industry.  Nuvera and our partner, East Penn Manufacturing, will be exhibiting ReadyPower, a hybrid fuel cell/battery product for forklift trucks.  Fuel cells are poised to make a big splash at this year’s event: the majority of fuel cell manufacturers will be in attendance, in addition to many lift truck OEM’s that will be discussing their work with fuel cells (and in some cases, displaying their fuel cell products).  Steve Medwin of Raymond Corporation will be presenting a session on Monday morning titled: The Application of Fuel Cells to Fork Lift Trucks: A Progress Report.
