Fuel cell, the magazine of fuel cell business and technology, featured a section in December’s issue titled: From lifts to Lawns: Hydrogen Fuel cells are Powering the Future.  The section reviewed the latest activities in forklift development and turf care, by profiling the Raymond Corporation and The Toro Company’s fuel cell projects.  Raymond has been testing a small fleet of fuel cells in its trucks since January 2007, including one ReadyPower unit and refueling with Nuvera’s PowerTap PTH (picture below).  The Toro Company has been researching fuel cells to meet its customers’ requests for quieter systems, lighter machines, and reduced emissions.  At Toro Company’s Center for Advanced Turf and Technology, they have begun another round of fuel cell testing, installing systems into is greensmovers and Workman vehicles, including a Nuvera PowerFlow.
