Today at the MODEX Supply Chain Conference in Atlanta, we will debut an online fuel cell financial calculator that will enable warehouse professionals to evaluate their forklift operation in real time. The tool allows customers to see the financial and environmental impact of converting their existing battery-powered operation to fuel cells.

The calculator is a result of two things:

1) We wanted a more descriptive way to discuss cost. The upfront price tag of a fuel cell system tells such a small part of the lifecycle cost story, it doesn’t account for: labor time saved, productivity enhancements, or cost of electricity vs. cost of hydrogen. While this calculator is only a general overview of our full financial model, it gives a better idea of what having a fuel cell deployment can really do for an operation.

2) To encourage web visitors to learn about the financial and environmental benefits of fuel cells and hydrogen in a fun way.
