The Eagle Has Landed!

The Eagle (Unit 3) has landed! I wanted to congratulate the team at Nuvera and Kuster Zima for all the hard work that went into the development of the latest design of our Power Tap Generation system. Over the last six months both teams spent a significant amount of time in designing and building a system that is a third of the volume and less than half the cost of our first generation device. Inside the box we have the fuel processing, pressure swing absorber and all associate fuel and water clean-up sub-systems. This unit will be used at Nuvera to supply hydrogen to our facility and will also be a test bed for further improvements in reducing the cost of the system. We are also embarking on the build of additional units at Kusters to support our 2009 material handling deployments. Completing this activity was a key element in developing our supply chain strategy for our PowerTap product.
Check out the pictures below of unit leaving Kuster Zima earlier in the week and arriving at Nuvera’s headquarters this morning!
