In light of today’s announcement of the successful conclusion of the joint development agreement with East Penn Manufacturing, I wanted to take a few moments to discuss Nuvera’s path forward in the coming months.

Nuvera is now moving to the next phase of its own development as designer, developer and manufacturer of industrial products that are clean, safe and easy to operate and maintain. We are now moving to directly supply end use customers and provide the high level of support these customers demand and deserve.

This is a landmark for our young company. We have early adopted Customer Focus as one of our company values. We talked to dozens of forklift trucks owners and operators before deciding to pursue this market back in 2004. We solicited their input and used them to design and develop our product. We tested several iterations of our product in normal duty by operators of our partner’s forklift trucks, for tens of thousands of hours and thousands of refueling events. With our suppliers involvement we were able to meet, and in some cases exceed the customers’ requirements.

It has been a long haul the last four years. Moments of frustration followed by a few moments of joy. This could not have been done were it not for the tenacity and dedication of the Nuvera people and our partners at East Penn Manufacturing. My many, many thanks.

And now we move to show time. Let’s make our customers successful so we earn our place under the sun in the new energy world.

Nuvera, along with its Board of Directors, presented its annual Outstanding Contribution awards today to five members of the team that have shown exceptional leadership and dedication throughout the past year.

This year’s honorees were:

The final honoree was Giampiero Fleba, who accepted his award via video conference from our Milan office.
