Aslam Khan is the Manager of Supply Chain at Nuvera Fuel Cells, focusing primarily on creating and maintaining strategic relations with key suppliers on a global level. In addition, he works closely with product platform teams to ensure Nuvera's key suppliers' strengths are utilized to provide the best value to our customers. Aslam's other responsibilities include Production Planning, Inventory Management, Shipping & Receiving, Procurement and Suppliers' Quality.
Prior to working at Nuvera, Aslam was a Strategic Supply Engineer/Project Manager for Trane, managing and improving the Trane Supply Chain. He led several cross-functional teams to reduce cost during a two year period by over $3,000,000. He negotiated several capital equipment purchases from international suppliers which resulted in a 20-45% price reduction, extended warranties and increased 24-hour service support commitments. Before this, he worked as a Senior MPD Engineer at Trane to implement lean manufacturing which resulted in reduced cost, improved quality and reduced lead time.
Aslam holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Southern Colorado. He also earned a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Karachi, Pakistan.
