Gus Block is Director of Marketing at Nuvera and Global Market Leader of the firm's Powerflow™ product platform. In addition to being a member of Nuvera's strategic planning and business development team, he is responsible for managing OEM/partner relationships for commercial and industrial hydrogen customers in the Americas.
Previously, Gus was an Engineer and Program Manager with Epyx Corporation, a spin-off company of Arthur D. Little, Inc., where he helped lead product development initiatives for small-scale PEM fuel cell power systems. Prior to that, he was a consultant for Arthur D. Little's Energy Technology Group. Gus was also a Fulbright scholar in Sri Lanka, where he was engaged in the design and construction of a wind-powered electrolyser for on-site hydrogen production.
Gus holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, and a degree in Humanities from Brandeis University.
