Milan / Cambridge, Mass., February 8, 2002 – Nuvera Fuel Cells today announced the appointment of Roberto Cordaro as President and Chief Executive Officer. In addition, Cordaro will join the company's Board of Directors. Previously, Cordaro, 52, was the Chief Executive Officer of Motor Coach Industries International, a North American manufacturer of inter-city luxury motor coaches and buses. Prior to that, he served 21-years with Cummins Engine Company, leaving as Executive Vice President and President ofthe Automotive Group. During his distinguished career at Cummins, Cordaro held several senior management positions in the areas of operations, sales, marketing, and distribution as well as technical positions in product development and engineering. He holds degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the Catholic University of São Paulo and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
