Nuvera Fuel Cells, Inc. announced today the reorganization and relocation of its European subsidiary, Nuvera Fuel Cells Europe Srl.

Milan/Cambridge, Mass., August 1, 2006 – Nuvera Fuel Cells, Inc. announced today the reorganization and relocation of its European subsidiary, Nuvera Fuel Cells Europe Srl. This development is another step towards the commercialization of fuel cell products.

Current laboratories in Osio Sotto (BG), Italy, will be expanded to include development of the Forza^TM hydrogen high power system, along with durability and reliability testing of Powerflow hydrogen fuel cell engines. They will also house prototype building and testing of advanced systems, and will be fully functional in September 2006.

Forza hydrogen high power system design and engineering, application engineering, service engineering, quality and supply chain management, marketing, sales and administration will be relocated to new offices in San Donato Milanese (MI), Via XXV Aprile 2, Italy, in November of this year.

Assembly and testing of the XDS-900 fuel cell stacks and all activities related to the design, research and development of advanced stacks will be reorganized over the next several months in order to optimize synergies available with other technology development activities that are housed in the US.

This will allow the Company to better utilize its infrastructure that will be available in Osio Sotto and in Billerica, MA, where, in June 2007, all of the industrial application activities will be consolidated in a new state of the art facility.
