Growth of the fuel cell industry is critically dependent on the realization of affordable hydrogen infrastructure. Nuvera has developed a product family of hydrogen generation systems called PowerTap™ that provide a cost-effective solution today. Onsite generation from natural gas eliminates the cost of transportation, greatly reducing the overall price. The fully integrated system is comprised of a fuel processor, electric-driven hydrogen compressor, cascade storage system and an indoor or outdoor dispenser depending on the application. PowerTap is designed to support material handling applications, and in the future will serve automotive applications as well.
