In order to remain a leader in the development and commercialization of fuel cell and fuel processing technologies, Nuvera relies on its state of the art facility and infrastructure to enable its success. Our facility includes over 20,000 square feet of prototyping, pilot production, testing and laboratory facilities supporting the development of fuel cells, fuel processors and integrated systems. Nuvera's test infrastructure accommodates a wide range of fuel cell sizes, from 10 watt single cells up to 100 kW stacks.
The following research facilities are available: chemical laboratory, fuel cell test stations, fuel processor test stations, automotive balance of plant test facility, micro reactor catalysis test facility, Instron compression testing machine, pilot plant combustion and fuel reforming modular test facility.
Nuvera's suite of modeling and technical analysis tools includes: process simulation, computational fluid dynamics, finite element stress analysis, numerical analysis/dynamic modeling and design packages.
