Improving Rail Transport Emissions

Many forms of rail vehicles can use Nuvera^® Fuel Cell Engines to power traction motors or auxiliary loads, including passenger, freight, light rail, rapid transit, mining locomotives, and trams. Among the rail applications powered by Nuvera fuel cells is a locomotive operated by Japan’s Railway Technical Research Institute and a mining locomotive.
